These easy American pancakes are not light but at least they are fluffy. They are great for a weekend brunch. Try adding a handful of white chocolate chips or some fresh blueberries to the batter and enjoy them!!
INGREDIENTS:
140 g self raising flour
2 tbsp caster sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 handful white chocolate
130 ml of milk
METHOD:
•Mix all the ingredients (without any order).
•Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and add butter. When it’s melted, add a ladle of batter . Wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then turn it over and cook until both sides are golden brown and the pancake has risen.
•Repeat until all the batter is used up. You can keep them in a warm oven but they taste best fresh out the pan.
•Serve them with fresh fruit or with the traditional method that includes maple syrup and butter.
